EXOMIND™ rTMS Therapy
At EnerChanges Clinic, we offer EXOMIND™, an advanced repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) therapy. EXOMIND™ is a Health Canada licensed medical device for rTMS, and the underlying technology is FDA-cleared in the United States for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults who have not achieved satisfactory improvement with antidepressant medication.
EXOMIND™ is also CE-marked in accordance with European medical device regulations, confirming it meets European safety and performance standards. It is not medication. It is targeted, non-invasive neuromodulation designed to help the brain do what it already knows how to do - regulate mood, motivation, and emotional resilience.

Why EnerChanges Clinic
EnerChanges Clinic has over 30 years of clinical experience integrating advanced medical therapies with whole-person care. We do not just see trends - we make them. We deploy tools that make sense clinically, ethically, and physiologically.
Who EXOMIND™ Is For
EXOMIND™ may be appropriate for individuals who are proactive about their health and interested in supporting mental clarity, focus, and emotional regulation as part of a medically supervised care plan.
The treatment is intended for appropriate candidates without certain contraindications, including a history of neurological or seizure disorders. A comprehensive medical assessment is required to determine suitability.
EXOMIND™ may be appropriate for adults experiencing:
-
Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), particularly when symptoms have not responded adequately to antidepressant treatment
-
Anxiety symptoms occurring alongside depression

Obsessive-compulsive patterns (OCD) as part of a broader, clinician-directed treatment plan
-
Binge eating behaviors (BED) associated with mood and reward-circuit dysregulation
EXOMIND™ is a Health Canada licensed medical device for repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). Clinical applications include treatment-resistant depression, reduction of anxiety symptoms associated with depression, obsessive-compulsive patterns, and binge eating behaviors.
A comprehensive medical assessment is required to determine suitability. All care is delivered within a medically supervised, evidence-based framework.

A noninvasive, drug-free walk-in walk-out procedure.
How Does EXOMIND™ Work?
EXOMIND™ uses ExoTMS™, an advanced, non-invasive form of brain stimulation that gently targets the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC), a key area involved in emotional regulation, decision-making, behavioural control, and goal alignment.
This stimulation enhances neural communication and modulates key neurotransmitter systems - particularly dopamine, with downstream effects on serotonin and norepinephrine - supporting improvements in mood, focus, and emotional resilience.
What Makes EXOMIND™ Different
-
Non-invasive - no anesthesia, no sedation
-
No systemic medication effects
-
Targeted brain stimulation using focused magnetic pulses
-
Sessions typically last 20–30 minutes
-
Patients remain awake and can resume normal activities immediately after
Many patients describe the experience as comfortable, focused, and surprisingly gentle.
Medication Reduction and Clinical Supervision
EXOMIND™ may allow some patients, under physician supervision, to explore gradual medication adjustments after sustained clinical improvement.
Medication tapering is never automatic and is determined collaboratively with the prescribing clinician.
What EXOMIND™ Is Not
To be clear and transparent:
-
It is not electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
-
It does not involve medications or electrical shock
-
It is not a cure-all or instant fix
-
It does not replace psychotherapy, lifestyle work, or medical care
It is a powerful tool, not a magic wand.
Safety and Short-Term Side Effects
EXOMIND™ is generally safe and requires minimal downtime. Some potential short-term side effects may include:
-
Mild headache
-
Scalp discomfort
-
Temporary elevated mood
The treatment is intended for appropriate candidates and should always be reviewed in the context of contraindications and medical history.
Who Tends to Be a Good Fit
EXOMIND™ is ideal for individuals who are proactive about their health and committed to optimizing both mental and physical wellbeing. It is well suited to those looking to support mental clarity, focus, emotional regulation, and long-term balance rather than quick fixes.
The treatment is intended for appropriate candidates without contraindications, including certain neurological or seizure-related concerns.
